Of course, shopping is readily available as well. Start by traveling up and down Gulf Blvd. Starting in St. Pete Beach and going north you will pass through Treasure Island, John’s Pass, Madeira Beach into Indian Rocks Beach and eventually to Clearwater leads to many opportunities for goods and entertainment. Headed south takes you to the beautiful variety of shops in Sarasota.
We know a good vacation rental should be close to good food. Restaurants are abound up and down Gulf Blvd as well. There’s no shortage of seafood options or even a wonderful steak dinner. Be sure to stop by Larry’s Ice Cream and Gelato to finish the evening. You won’t regret a small treat afterward. Another great option for dining and night life is Downtown St Pete, or DTSP as you may have seen it abbreviated. Look for anything along 4th St for a great place.

Our St. Petersburg vacation rental is located on the island of Isla del Sol, or Island of the Sun. The island is bound on the north by the Boca Ciega Bay Aquatic Preserve, and on the south by Tampa Bay, thus making nature everywhere.
Walking around within the community is a great way to get in your morning/evening walk. You can venture a little farther west over the Pinellas Bayway bridge and have breakfast at Paradise Diner on St. Pete Beach, and the walking lanes and sidewalks make it very safe to do so.
